How can i change my screen resolution?

in windows xp.. (using the little slider to select more or less) ..when i choose to show me more, my screen goes into one of those frequency out of range seizures.. how can i fix that?

i've got a 17in. lcd monitor.How can i change my screen resolution?
Right click and go to properties and the settings tab like normal...then go to Advanced on that screen

In the box that pops up...go to the Adapter tab and you'll see a button for list all modes....and u'll have a list of all possible modes for your monitor....try one of those out!

Hope that helps! How can i change my screen resolution?
idk...but you are CUTE!!!
right click on desktop

select properties

click on settings

slide bar to highest resolution

if you cant get as high a resolution as you want, its either because your monitor cannot handle a higher resolution or your graphics card cant. im saying that if you cant get a higher resolution, it's because your hardware isn't powerful enough
If you have an LCD monitor, you should make sure you have all your drivers installed correctly, and set your monitor to it's native resolution, which is probably around 1440x900, give or take. You can change it either with the driver utility, or through the Display utility in the Control Panel. (I've got a monitor of similar size, widescreen though, and that is the resolution on the sticker, and in the driver, that it lists as the native resolution.)
