My screen resolution change after few monitor going to sleep while in every game!?

Whenever i play games in my PC, it have a little blips in it, and after a while the screen gone black and ';Monitor Going To Sleep'; then it come back, after a few time of that, the screen resolution of my desktop change from 1280*1024 to 1280*960!

Sometimes Steam games i have do have problems, but my Warcraft III work fine, sometimes they all ruined.

It's wierd that some day i just come on and i can play, but mostly i can't.

This started happening long ago, but it started to get more and more after i installed COD4 %26amp; DirectX.

I've tried :

- Update %26amp; Scanning Viruses

- Close all programs that uses up kernal

- Clean the inside of my pc

- Defrag Harddisk

but they doesnt help at all

Need help! please tell me how to fix this!My screen resolution change after few monitor going to sleep while in every game!?
Have you tried another monitor? If the problem stops, then it's probably that which is broken.

Alternatively, it could be that the resolution in your games are set wrong. Make sure that both game and desktop resolutions are set at the native for your monitor. This is important to check, as LCD's hate being set at a strange resolution.

After that, assuming you aren't using onboard graphics, you should update your graphics card drivers. Do this by going to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstalling the ATi drivers there. Then go to their website, and download the latest drivers.

Your graphics card could also be broken, but lets leave that for now, actually...

Only other thing I can think of is power settings. Go into Display Properties %26gt; Screen Saver Tab %26gt; Power, and set all menus to ';Never';, and ensure Hibernation is switched off.

Hope that helps! My screen resolution change after few monitor going to sleep while in every game!?
Uhm... try updating your video card...

(you didn't mention your graphics card.)

or...

you could try updating your video card's driver...
It may be the game, or your drivers!

Go onto the page of your graphics card manufacturer, and download the latest driver for the graphics card. Also, update all the drivers / hardware on Windows Update.

If that doesn't work, go into the display setting of the game, changing the resolution, and hopefully it will work!
