i switched off my computer without shuttin it down as it had rashed. now my colour is 4 bit with no option to change and screen resolution is the larget. the computer does not seem to be in safe mode but it might be. how do i put my settings back to normal?! if it is in safe mode how do i make it normal?! please help!Changing screen resolution and colours when no option to do so?
Sounds like your display adapter got screwed up. Try reinstalling it or simply remove it from your device manager and restart your computer. It should reinstall itself.

shut your computer down again. if it comes back up the same, go to start, settings, control panel, display, and then change it how you want. hope that works.
