ubuntu is crap get windows if your not cheapHow do i change the screen Resolution in ubuntu 9.04?
ubuntu SUCKS use windows vista home premium. It is great and I still have not had a problem with it.
Go to control pannel, then click on ';apperance and themes'; then click on ';change the screen resolution';.
I assume you're setting it using ';Settings \ Preferences \ Display';?

If you don't have anything higher than 800x600 to select then it it's probably detected your graphics card incorrectly, what model do you have?
