How do I stop the ';change your screen resolution'; blue box from poping up?

My son plays certain games, such as World of Warcraft, and when the games start they , I'm guessing, change the screen resolution. The little blue box keeps popping up every few min. asking me to change the screen res., it also says to disable this message press 2, which I've done over and over. The message doesn't stop. Does anyone know how to stop this message?? I am using windows XP Professional the 2002 version. How do I stop the ';change your screen resolution'; blue box from poping up?
This message is your LCD monitor. Read the manual that came with your Monitor. Your choices are to set all programs to the default resolution and refresh rate for the LCD Monitor, ( most games have a options menu for this within the game) or use the Monitor menu to turn the pop up box off Completely. ( Press Button 2 is referring to button 2 on the Monitor , not your keyboard)

This info should all be in the manual that came with the Monitor. The default resolution and refresh rate will be the maximum that your LCD Monitor supports. Check the LCD user manual before changing the resolution and refresh rate. changing the settings to a resolution and refresh rate higher than your monitor supports can damage the Monitor. How do I stop the ';change your screen resolution'; blue box from poping up?
Get rid of XP Pro 2002, it's crap.
Attempt to update to SP2 and all Critical updates from the microsoft website.

Attempt to update your video driver with the latest one,for nvidia look on nvidia.com and for ati on ati.com

Patch the game with the latest patch from the Warcraft site
