you can right click on the empty space on the desktop and choose properties then go to the setting tab ( in the right side) and in the left lower corner of menu change the screen resolation ( the range of resolation depend on the monitor for example : 15'' is 800-600 to 1024-768 not more )How do i change my screen resolution?
Right click on desktop -%26gt; Proprieties -%26gt; Settings.
control panel%26gt;display%26gt;change the resolution. If you put a higher resolution it will make everything smaller.
control panel/ setting u will see a icon of a monitor
- Go to your desktop

- Right click to properties

- Click the tab that says ';Settings';

- Below is the screen resolution

:)
If you have vista and you are just talking about icons do that, right click on the desktop click on view put a check on classic that will make the icons smaller.
Right click at some blank space at desktop, click properties, go to setting and there you see Screen Resolution and you can change therefrom.

Please note that in case the Arrow does not move, then you have to use the CD which comes with the Motherboard to install the Driver or you have to download the driver from the web site of the manufacturer.
try just clicking the enter button to apply the changes,sometimes you can just navigate with the directions keys and apply with the enter key.
