How to change screen resolution?

I changed my screen resolution but didn't realize it was an invalid format and clicked around on the screen after I did it not thinking. Apparently I clicked OK saying I could see it in the process so now I can't see my screen to change my resolution. What do I do?How to change screen resolution?
right click ur desktop and select ';the thing with ';properties'; then u can easily figure it out from there.

ur mad dumb. How to change screen resolution?
Right click anywhere on desktop, then click on personalize. Then on lower left corner click on display, then on upper left corner click on screen resolution, you can change from there. Or just open my computer, and search for display, and change it from there.
Right click in your desktop and you can see the icon for ';personalize';.
yeah you right click on your desktop screen and scroll down to properties. you aren't mad dumb though. geeez people are rough.
hi kirk, it would have been easier to explain what windows that you have like for instance window xp hit start%26gt;settings%26gt;control panel then hit display icon and then hit the advance tab and there is where you change your resolutions but like for vista is even easier right click a bare placeon your desktop and hit propeties right here is where you can see resolutions settings along with changine the screen pictures and placeing your computer to the right settings. but now for your problem of not being able to see reboot when you see your windows logo start tapping f8 this is a safe screen mode scrol down to last good configuration (advance) and apply this will bring you back to your settings before you had a problem. good luck hope i was helpful to you
The cause of your problem is that your video card has lower version that cannot support the screen resolution that you chose or if your video card has higher version the driver is not install. So to see again your screen first turn off your computer unit and then refresh your video card and memory by removing them. Then return them in their respected places. Now turn on your unit and you will see your screen again. Try not to select resolution setting that cannot be supported by your computer system.
