I think you need to install your graphics card drivers. Thats why the resolution bar cant move ;)
Use Start %26gt; Setting %26gt; Add Hardware

Re-install the graphic card (device), then try to change the screen resolution again. The problem may relate to your graphic card driver. The re-installation will reload the driver.
Either your graphics card burned out,

or you need to reinstall the drivers.
