(got a new graphics card) now how do i change the screen resolution..?

i bought a new ATI Radeon X300 SE off ebay... works perfect.. great deal for $.99.. but i'd like to know how to change the screen resolution.. it shows up real big.. i always like to set mine up so you can view more.. i adjusted the little slider there %26amp; the screen went blank when i hit apply so i restarted %26amp; decided to ask here.

You seem to have not installed the proper drivers. Make sure that you have installed the correct version of Catalyst from ATi (http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html)



Once that is done check the display tab of directx to make sure it recognizes your X300. Type 'dxdiag' into the run box from the start menu. Under device, see if you recognize the name.



Once that is done, right click on your desktop and choose properties. Then change your resolution in the settings tab. Not running with the proper drivers first can damage your card.(got a new graphics card) now how do i change the screen resolution..?
